Intelligent Finance Mortgages

You will recall our announcement we made on 1st October, when we advised you of some changes we intended to make to our Intelligent Finance mortgages.

With effect from 15th February, any existing Intelligent Finance mortgage clients wishing to apply for a product transfer, further borrowing, a new house purchase mortgage or to port their mortgage product, regardless of whether they increase their loan amount, will be able to do so directly and should contact Intelligent Finance on 0845 602 5353. Any application will be subject to the lending policy of Intelligent Finance at the time of their request.

As a result, there is no longer a requirement for the process and substitute mortgage products that gave your client the option to move to a new mortgage with an alternative brand within Lloyds Banking Group, so these have been removed from this website.

Existing Intelligent Finance clients are being contacted and informed of this change. As some of these clients may choose to approach you directly to discuss their options, your advice on which option to take remains crucial.

Q: Will I be paid commission if my client stays with Intelligent Finance and carries out a port, product transfer or application for further borrowing?
A: No, as per previous arrangements, servicing transactions for Intelligent Finance clients (porting, further borrowing, product transfers etc) do not attract commission.


Q: Could I deal with these applications on behalf of my client?

A: No, Intelligent Finance is a direct-only brand and intermediaries are no longer able to service a client's account.


Q: What is the porting process for my client?
A: If your client is looking to port their current mortgage with Intelligent Finance - your client should call our sales team direct on 0845 602 5353 to discuss what options are available to them.
